A Certified Roof Inspector is trained and educated to inspect all different types of residential roofs, identify the systems and components of roof systems, understand how the components of a roof system function and perform, and describe to clients defects observed at the roof system.
A Certified Home Inspector is trained and educated to inspect Residential Properties.
InterNACHI® will pay up to $25,000 (USD; maximum collective aggregate) for the cost of replacement of personal property lost (and not recovered, restituted or insured) during an inspection and stolen by an InterNACHI®-certified member who was convicted of or pleaded guilty (or no contest) to any criminal charge resulting from the member's taking of the client's personal property.
A Certified Moisture Intrusion Inspector shall identify and describe specific details of buildings that may cause moisture-related problems; describe the design, construction, and maintenance of houses and buildings that manage moisture effectively; inspect for indications of moisture intrusion; communicate how to prevent moisture intrusion by proper installation of systems and components; understand how energy, moisture, water, and vapor moves through a building; recognize evidence of structural damage and previous repair; and communicate to clients indications of moisture intrusion.
A Certified Deck Inspector shall list and describe the major components of a deck; distinguish between proper and improper installation techniques; identify and describe common major structural and safety problems.
A Certified Exterior Inspector shall identify the components of the exterior, inspect and evaluate each component for its performance; understand how moisture, heat, and energy move through a home; describe to clients defects observed at the exterior systems.
A Certified Infrared Inspector is trained and educated to perform an inspection of a residential property using infrared thermography technology; and identify and describe common problems that may be discovered with the use of infrared thermography.
Certificate to be considered a certified commercial drone pilot in order to legally operate a drone for property inspections.
